Our story
We survived the journey which was about 43 hours from home to Budapest, which includes waiting in airports of course. We are a bit frazzled round the edges but in one piece. Hotel brilliant right on the Danube next to the Chain bridge (Szechenyi Bridge) amazing views
First Day
The weather's hot, 34 degrees and humid. Luckily I have a tour guide that carries. me everywhere. After walking across the Chain Bridge we walked along the river taking in the views and impressive Pariament building. Then we met a very nice Scottish couple and sat talking (in the shade of course). Well the boys talked for a couple of hours.
